Join us for an intimate live music session by Anak Borneo (Evan Lee), Sarawakian songwriter and producer known for weaving Borneo ancestral stories into contemporary soundscapes.

In this live show, he will revisit songs from his album Pulau 島, inspired by the traditional beliefs, folk tales, and ecological wisdom of native Sarawak communities.

His music blends the raw spirit of Borneo with rock, country, and experimental sounds, forming a sonic experience that is both grounded and otherworldly. This session is also a pre-concert showcase for Fire Ritual on Pulau, Evan’s upcoming concept concert premiering 9 July 2025 at Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC).

About the Artist
关于艺术家 Anak Borneo 婆羅洲之子（Evan Lee 李哲林）Evan Lee, known as Anak Borneo 婆羅洲之子, is a Sarawakian songwriter and music producer blending contemporary genres like rock and country with traditional Sarawakian music. Formerly the vocalist of Kitai Anak Borneo, he founded Anak Borneo in 2017. His award-winning song “Who Are You, Who Am I” and the concept album 【Pulau島】reflect themes of homeland and indigenous identity.

李哲林，艺名“婆羅洲之子”，是一位砂拉越词曲作家 兼音乐制作人，他将摇滚、乡村等现代音乐风格与砂 拉越传统音乐巧妙融合。他曾是Kitai Anak Borneo乐队的主唱，并于2017年创立了“婆羅洲之子”（Anak Borneo）。他的获奖歌曲《谁是你啊谁是我》和概念 专辑《Pulau岛》探讨了家园和原住民身份认同的主 题。
