The 8th Ingenuity Coffee Roasting Competition

For the first time ever, the 8th Ingenuity Coffee Roasting Competition is making its way to Malaysia, co-organised with Kuro. We’re inviting every Malaysian coffee roaster, from home enthusiasts to professionals, to step forward and showcase the craft you’ve been perfecting.

This year’s competition brings a unique format: online preliminaries held locally, followed by an exciting offline grand final across the sea. It’s a chance not just to compete, but to grow, to benchmark your roasting against the region, and to be part of a global roasting stage.

Register before 30 Nov to unlock the early-bird rate. Final registration closes on 14 Dec, so don’t miss your window.

*Each participant will receive 1 kg of competition green beans to get started. If you’d like to add more, .additional beans can be purchased at RM100 per kg.

And here’s where the journey gets even more exciting, the top 3 Malaysian roasters will earn their spot in Guangzhou, China, where they’ll compete live at Ingenuity Coffee for the ultimate prize: the Kaleido Sniper M6 Coffee Roaster (Artisan) & more others.
